Always HAVE FUN and remember why we play

-BYSA will discipline as necessary if you violate any of these expectations
-Hold a parent meeting at the beginning of each season
-Inform parents/players of all rules they need to follow
-Discuss your ultimate goals and expectations for the season
-Abide by all laws/rules of FIFA, IYSA(Idaho Youth Soccer) and BYSA
-Be responsible to understand and follow the laws of the game
-Instruct players to play within the written laws of the game at all times
-You need to understand, obey and inform your team & parents of any and all
tournament rules
-Each tournament has different seeding and advancement requirements

Set A GOOD EXAMPLE
-DO NOT ARGUE WITH OR CRITICIZE OFFICIALS
-Have a professional and controlled conduct towards any official
-Do not allow any member of your team to disrespect another teammate at any
time
-Respect your opponent's coaches and players
-It is UNACCEPTABLE to have a verbal altercation with any opposing coach
or bench before, during or after a game
-Never seek unfair advantage by allowing/teaching deliberate unsportsmanlike
behavior
-Do not allow fans/parents to stand on either goal line or teams sideline at any
game
-Always be prepared
-Inform parents/players of any schedule changes immediately
-Be on time
-Stress Idaho's erratic weather to your team and the importance to be
prepared for anything
-Contact BYSA immediately to replace used first aid supplies

-Coaches are RESONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF THE PLAYERS
-Never place the value of winning over the safety of players
-SHIN GUARDS HAVE TO BE WORN FOR EVERY GAME AND PRACTICE
-Direct players to seek medical attention for injuries and follow doctors instruction
regarding treatment and recovery
-DO NOT LEAVE ANY PLAYER UNATTENDED AFTER GAMES/PRACTICE
-Check condition of field before each game/practice and remove any glass, rocks
and the like
-Do not allow horseplay i.e. hanging from goalposts or playing with goal nets
-Demand seat belt use when transporting players to/from games
-YOU are responsible for ALL BYSA equipment issued to your team
-Do not leave trash behind, encourage team to respect the fields and the communities
they play in
